What would you pay for...

MK1 values are only going one way, and thats up.
The genuine ltd editions ones will gain more due to exclusivity. Ones such as RS-ltd, S-ltd and R-ltd are ones to look for. Does it has most of its original parts/wheels/interior etc ? These ones will go up more if not been molested by boy racers with wide arches etc
is it the one on facebook? If so it is worth 3k as far as i see. I have no connection to seller, but have a S-ltd of my own undergoing a refurb...

100k is a pretty high mileage
What's it advertised for?
Its really not. What's it advertised for?
Seems my initial estimate of £2.5k was pretty accurate too...

Not quite an update, but in my searches, I’m seeing a LOT of Mk2.5 cars for sale with the asking well over £3k, with quite a few at £4k+
Admittedly, these seem to be mostly very low miles and in very good condition, but still – who’s gonna pay that for a Mk2.5?!
Or am I out of touch?
You're answering your own question there.Admittedly, these seem to be mostly very low miles and in very good condition, but still – who’s gonna pay that for a Mk2.5?!

MX5's will high mileages will mean they will have probably been out in all weather conditions so either they've had rust repairs done or they are needing them. A lot of owners and garages have bodged these repairs too...so the rust comes back but worse!
Not being obtuse but what question of my own have I answered with the part you have made bold?
What I'm asking is - while I understand why the cars are being priced at that - ie low miles and good condition, are folk actually paying that?
I genuinely didn't think there was much of a market for £3k+ MK2.5 cars.

Basically, I'm trying to work out if I'll take a bath in buying a good 2.5 for 3.5k or more...
