Finally decided to stop arsing about and buy one for summer.

Looks ok, maybe priced high, potentially resprayed rear end (judging from pics) and also not quite sure it's actually private sale.

Trade seller, so will get full MOT, brakes look like they'll need work, don't mind some DIY and a little project. Prefer the colour but suspect it's had a harder life. Also further away, logistics might be difficult as I'm picking up on my own.

Ruled some out already based on emission failures in previous MOTs. Must be 2.0 Sport.

Not many 2.0 Sports under 5k (locally at least)

First one is expensive, I would be looking for a newer one for that money

Second one is a shed.

I recently paid £2650 for an 06 on 88k with a hard top. to give you an idea, it isn't perfect but perfectly serviceable.

Wrong time of year as well, I would wait till September to buy one, keep an eye out to see which ones have been sat about all summer and make a cheeky offer.

Wow, you got a bargain, I can't find anything local anywhere near that sort of money. I was going to buy out of season but was advised on here to wait until Spring as there would be more choice!

they can be picked up cheap if you look about i got a 2006 2.0 sport with removable hard top and coilovers for £2500
