Turbo Set-up Help

So I bought a Mazda MX-5 MK2 1999 earlier this year and I told myself I wouldn't modify it, however, now I want to add a turbo in it. I want to play it safe and reach around 230bhp. I dont want to change stock internals. Budget isn't as issue but I would like cheap and reliable alternative suggestions for parts please. I have been doing some newby research and I came to set-up list. Guys, lets me know if you think this is ok. I'm open to criticism so criticise away.

Fuel pressure regulator
rx8 yellow injectors 420cc
TD04 0r T25 turbo, which one guys?
TD04 turbo manifold and downpipe
Straight through 2.5" custom exhaust,
Looking for an Electronic Boost Controller, Gredy profec
0.8mm gapped cooler spark plugs, I red about spark plugs, r they necessary?
intercooler, I'm unsure of which one and also how will I do the piping? Should I get a piping kit

First things first. E-manage is very old technology and quite limited.

Get a proper standalone ECU. It'll have boost control on it built in

If budget isn’t an issue here’s my setup. Not cheap but it’s been reliable and I’m running 280hp.

ME221 ecu
Td04 hybrid turbo (td04-19t)
Injector dynamics 1050cc injectors
Skuzzle intercooler setup (top fed, solid piping)
Black cat motorsport manifold and downpipe (kraken branded)
AEM wideband
Skuzzle supplied electronic boost controller
Skuzzle mapped


Things like spark plugs, you’ll likely have to change them anyway. I’m running 1.1mm gap but most run 0.8mm. This comes from trial and error with different gaps.
