NC - knock/rattle with roof down

Hi chaps.

On my 3.75, I have a rattle or knocking noise that is only present with the roof down when driving over rough ground.

It seems to be coming from the passenger side, from behind and to the left of the passenger's head. My missus is officially rubbish at rattle-finding and when I'm on my own I can't seem to drive and simultaneously search for irritating noises.


Is there a known suspect spot for this? Any idea where should I be looking?

Also, with the roof up, there's a feint rattle from just to the right and slightly behind of my head. Likewise, where should I be looking? I can't find the source of that noise either.

edit: it's a folding hard top!

The plastics behind the seat can rattle, has been fixed by others with a piece of pipe insulation

Thank you for that. I'll certainly look into it.

The passenger side rattle actually sounds like the window wobbling a little, but no amount of holding it still seems to stop the noise.
