Hey everyone, im very new to the MX5 world!
about a year ago my mums friend who was migrating to France said she had "a little blue mazda convertible" She wanted to get rid of before she left, I offered her a very small amount as I said id buy it blind, but it was a low ball offer...

well a year later she accepted aha. So i'm now the proud owner of this 1.8s mk2 Mx5!

Im still learning about it, i only found out a couple of days ago it was an s and should have a diff ?

going to be a fun little side project for sure

£300 with the roof, started first time with a jump start too !

you can recover that money just by selling the hard top alone.
check for rust under the car.
i also have one and love it.
haven't done much to it besides improving my chances of survival by installing a rollbar.

Before you do anything else with it, get underneath and check the chassis rails for rot.

Cheers guys yeah its actually pretty sound but my mate welds these up for a living so he will sort any issues! LSD Still works
