1994 to 1997 7 spokes. Either hollow, semi-hollow or solid. I have the chrome look version that came OEM fitted to my 1994 V-Special 2.

Link

According to this the 7 spokes were fitted to the JDM J-Ltd 2, the G-Ltd and the B2 Ltd. May also have been fitted to the UK spec 1.8is.

They're some of the lightest wheels you can get. Very nice indeed.

Thanks for the info. Nice to know that.

It has Falken tyres on it at the moment which I'm not too keen on, what tyres are considered the best for 14" wheeled MX-5's?

The hollow spoke wheels are. The solid wheels are average.
