Well, it got to be almost 5 months old before it got it's first scratch, but I don't think it will buff out! mad

The Mazda Machine Grey paint is a special 4 layer paint finish that is (apparently) an absolute pig to match. I know of one guy who had a complete respray to match one panel!

Not happy!

Sorry to note that. Looks nice & shiny the bits not damaged.
Have you considered that as the car almost matches the tarmac, especially when in the rain, you made yourself less visible than is ideal, not that I'm suggesting bright yellow or anything?

Oh...i completely agree. With hindsight it was probably a stupid colour choice.

Damn shame. I'm always a little nervous passing lorries in my MX5, especially the left hand drive foreign ones.

Probably not an issue in Aus.
