Mazda 5 2.0 burning oil

Hi all, I have a Mazda 5 2.0 as a family wagon. It's burning a fair bit of oil under load, the strange part is the engine is perfectly quiet and running well. Full Mazda history and compression is around 160-170 psi on all four. Anyone have a clue what it might be? I'm guessing oil control rings

Take a spark plug out and if its covered in oil your piston rings need replacing
