Clonking noise from drivetrain
Discussion
Hi all,
I noticed on my way in to work this morning that my MK1 MX5 has developed a clonking noise that increases in frequency as the speed builds (i.e. underload) and disappears when off the throttle.
Now I know its not the big ends as it only happens when I motion. I believe it might be the prop knocking against the tunnel but looking at photos of the underside of MX5's I cant see where.
Obviously once I get home and can get it in the air i'll be able to get a better idea of what has happened and it might well be obvious but whilst I am sat at work I thought I might ask and see if anyone has experienced similar?
