Mk1 window Chanel replacement.

The window channels on my mk1 have become very hard and it's very tough winding them up
.also the top where they meet the triangle of the quarter light have become distorted.
Anyone undertaken this and if where best to acquire the parts?

Have you tried mx5 parts? They seem to have these kind of trim bits. I just replaced the window to door weatherstrips as the originals were very tatty. Not cheap at £40 a side but they made a big difference to the cars appearance.
