MX5 MK2 Turbo Kits - Best Prices?

Super quick, as I'm down the pub!

My mate has an '02 MX5, which he is wanting to upgrade with a turbo kit to. He isn't after huge amounts of power, but something around the 220BHP mark. Which conversions would you recommend? Also, what is the cheapest conversion available? Can be reconditioned parts.

Yeah, I found the MTech website last night ... It's £2000 excluding VAT. He's hoping for a kit around the £1000-1200 mark. He's a mechanic, so fitting the kit is not an issue. Are there any other kits available?

BBR do one, but that will be well over budget. Flying Miata is the US do a few, but again, probably over budget. I think for that sort of money he may have to build his own. There's stuff on e-bay, but there are mixed reviews on the quality. You may be able to find more info of MX5Nutz or the MX5 owners club site.
