Can't wait to get back in an MX5
Discussion
Had a mk1 1.6 eunos a few years back which I sold. I know have a bigger saloon but want another car to keep the mileage down. Decided on a mx5 due to low cost, convertible (for euro road trips - drove all over France in the last one), and good for track days. Did see a nice 2.5 locally but read about rust and tbh I want a mk1 again.
I know it's a cliche on here but I don't think I've really enjoyed driving a car as much as I did that eunos - the ability to drive it through the gears without ending up at silly speeds is one of the best bits. I'm after a 1.8 one now rather than 1.6 but I'm sure it won't be too much faster!

Was after a belter on eBay which finished this morning - didn't win it though
Was that the one in Taunton? I would have gone for that myself if I didn't already have two in the garage.Sold my last one for about 750 about 3 years ago and whilst it wasn't as good as the Taunton one, it was miles better than those at 750 now!
