What shocks for a 2006 Sport NC?
Discussion
Most people including myself go for the MeisterR's. I got the Zeta S version but I think they do an updated version now CRD or something.
More expensive then go for the Ohlins which Blink sell very reasonably. Other people go for the BBR coilovers setup which has Koni dampers and BBR springs and some people prefer those for the road over the MeisterR's but to be honest I think you'd be happy with any, especially over standard

Ride-wise, the springs are reasonably firm, so over patchy surfaces they can be a bit drummy, and I'd say there's certainly more road noise transmitted. I'll qualify that by saying I'm using a 9 year old MX-5 with lowered, aftermarket suspension for 300 miles of commuting a week. I'm probably being wussy about it as my shoulder's been bugging me from hunching over the keyboard at work, making after-market suspension more noticeable.
Handling and road-holding-wise, I found the stock Bilstein setup wallowy and pitchy over gentle stuff, then crashy when you hit a bump. I could literally feel the oscillations while it recovered from a bump. Hit a bump in a straight line it would dart around. Hit a bump in the corner, the car would jiggle sideways. The car constantly felt like it was on tip-toes.
The MeisterR's make the car feel hunkered-down into the corner. It goes where I point it now, doesn't change attitude over a big bump, so easily carries more speed. All that with a slight height correction thrown in, and mine is not slammed. It flashes the DSC light more often now as all the energy went into rolling and pitching before
It's worth reading the likes of Mx5nutz forum for opinions too. I went for these as the internet consensus suggested these are the best combo of quality/performance/price for the road.

Yes that is for four
I have no experience of Meister, so can only recommend what I have on mine, these are the same price too.

I'd describe them similarly to the other posts in here, they are reasonably stiff (7kg/5kg) but ride really well once you get the damping dialed in just right. They have 16 levels, and I think I have the back end about or just over half and the front a few more turns. When I first had them the rear felt like it wasn't compressing into and rebounding out of dips well, but now I took it back a few turns it's just about perfect.
