Internet searches seem a tad inconsistent on this or is it me?

Long story short - Brother dumped his 2003 1.8 Sport on my drive as his Wifey is pissed off with it. He's bought a new car and asked if i could get rid of the MX for a couple of hundred quid!!

P1345 code was evident which I cleared - took ages and many stalls and engine cut outs to get the fault code (only one) back.

Looked through the cars history to find a receipt for replacing the camshaft sensor back in April this year.

So my obvious question is does this code refer to camshaft or crankshaft sensor?

Second question is (as it seems you need hands like a pedophile to change it) is it likely to be just dirty and if so would a good squirt of carb cleaner and a blast with the pressure washer sort it?

To be honest I dont really give a toss about the car and just want it off my drive which is easier to do if it's running laugh
