Abandoned my search for a good cheap £1k to 1.5k mk1 and upped my budget. Turned up a S Limited for sale near me and spent over an hour checking it and as described, its rust free. Loads of work done by the owner, just need to tidy up a bit inside. Original japanese owner appears to have handed it to a Japanese tuning company by the name of zelous? They added side skirts, enkei wheels and an hks exhaust.

Really pleased with this little car, here's a pic

Those side skirts take a bit of getting used to, but it looks like a great car.

Looks nice. Like the pinstripe. Looks like a little ducktail would balance the skirts out a treat and give it some real purpose.

Picked it up today and after a nice drive home over dartmoor I set about cleaning it up a bit. The guy who owned it looked after it mechanically and washed it but I don't think he ever bothered with the interior and it's come up a treat. Couple of niggly things, the dash lights are not working and the radio is ste but nothing that can't be sorted.

I lived in Exeter when I bought mine from a bloke in Plymouth, so my first drive in mine was a trip over Dartmoor. My profile picture is from that day.

After a few days cleaning up under the bonnet, boot and interior I've managed to take ten years off the s-ltd. Sorted the dash, stiff soft top and fitted a new cd player. The idea was to get a car a bit rough around the edges and sell on next spring but not sure I want to let this go now.

Look great. I've wondered whether to put a red leather interior into my green Eunos for that classic Lotus look.

Mine could do with a new drivers seat tbh as its quite worn. However, I've heard the red interiors are like hens teeth.

It might be worth getting an upholsterer to have a look at it.
