Hi guys, it's urgent because I'm supposed to be doing Castle Combe on Tuesday and if I don't sort this fault it is looking unlikely.
Long story short, car is an early 1600 Eunos which is chuffing out blue petrol smoke, but only when the throttle is in the floor. You can drive round using 90% throttle with absolutely no smoke at all, as soon as you bury it there is loads of blue smoke and the stench of unburnt fuel.

I've just swapped the injectors over and no joy, bear in mind I've had most of the car apart so could it be a simple breather pipe or something that's not connected? Any suggestions very gratefully received...

It could be something like that, but your post is very light on info.

Firstly blue smoke is burning oil, not excess fuel.

Chances are it's not overfuelling, it could also not be igniting the fuel. Cleaning/checking & maybe replacing the plugs is always a good start.

What have you had apart, and why? Do you have any good pictures of the engine bay as it is now? Is the car completely standard or modified, if the latter what are the modifications etc etc
