Best roof trimmers for MX5
Discussion
We used Car Hood Warehouse when we had our roof replaced a couple of years ago. Great quality at a good price.Still looking good. My wife took it in and was impressed with the workshop and the speed (it took about an hour and a half). I would use them again. They were apparently impressed when we wanted to keep the car original with a vinyl roof and plastic rear window, which I liked.

Take a day off and book it into Jack Smith Trimmers in Swansea.
His hoods are perfectly cut, made and trimmed. See other comments if you google them.
My mohair hood with zip-out, plastic rear window (glass not an option due to the roll-cage) still looks good after four years and cost £250.
We drove down early, dropped the car off, walked along the beach, had coffee at the library, lunch at a small Italian restaurant in the harbour area, strolled back along the beach and collected the car in time to drive back to Reading for the evening.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe.

Bit late to this but for future reference I went to Car Hood Warehouse in Chessington too about a year ago. Took about an hour and a half and the hood is perfect, also saw an S2000 and another MX5 there at the time and both hoods look pristine. Bit closer to those in the South East than going off to Wales.
