Mk1 Eunos Front bumper question
Discussion
Howdy all,
Just been trying to tidy up my mk1 Eunos, and have had some issues fixing the front bumper. The number plate is a screwed into the bumper, and I guess from being too tight one side has caved in - see photo. I can pull the dent out by pulling on the screw but it doesn't snap back into place unfortunately. Any tips on how I can get it to return to the correct position? Do I need a heat gun?
Another quick question... My badge was stolen off the front leaving the metal surround in the photo. How do I remove the metal surround? I'm guessing it will leave holes, but I'm going to stick on a new badge I've bought which will hopefully cover the holes.
New badge:
Thanks in advance to any one able to help

I think heat gun or at least hair dryer (I'd try hair dryer first as it's less likely to burn things) is the answer to both questions. Soften the plastic of the bumper and it should relax back into shape and the badge is probably held on with double sided tape and aligned with holes. Warm up the adhesive and use plastic sheet (credit card) or dental floss to help saw it off the back of the badge.

Bumper complete! Cheers for the help. In the end warm water worked so didn't have to tempt the neighbours to make hairdresser comments by getting the hair dryer out Still not sure I like the new badge though. And need to order a new plate as this one is bent and a little cracked.Who said they were hairdresser's cars?
