In the latest club mag there's a pic of a Mk2 (IIRC, not got the mag here) with steel wheels, pepperpot type pattern. Apparently they are someme's winter wheels. I like them, they have a "60s club racer" look, I've seen similar on racing Jags etc. Has anyone any idea what they are from? The ideal discovery would be that they are spares from a Mazda 3 or Mazda 6 (or indeed a Fiesta, since don't Mazda and Ford share PCD and centre bore dimensions?) in which case I can scour a few breakers and get them for loose change.
Mine is a Mk2 BTW, so 4 stud, fitting standard 5 spoke alloys, one of which has been kerbed at some point and is buckled, hence the need for at least 1 new wheel.

Were they these ones?

I believe all MX5s came into the country on steels and the dealers or importer then fitted the appropriate alloy for the edition/spec etc. So somewhere there should be a large stock of steel wheels just lying around for MK1/2 MX5s

The BMW Mini wheels look very similar, the Mazda ones don't as the cutouts are oval, the ones I saw were round . In addition AIUI the Mazda steels are 14", I need 15s. Thanks to both, getting Mini steel wheels ought to be very easy in a breaker, always assuming they didn't come with space savers and wheelbarrow tyres as spares.
