Hardtop summer storage

Always a problem for those with limited space
This is my solution


First , bubble wrap , about 5m x 1200 should be enough


Then with ratchet straps fixed to garage beams support hardtop and wind up


Finally hard top snug in position untill next winter

I've been trying to work out what to do with my Z3 hardtop over Summer. I think I may be stealing your idea.

My brother did something similar for his Merc hardtop. He used an electric winch and built a support frame. The Merc hardtop has a panoramic glass roof, it's a heavy beast.
