Hi,

Picking up my first MX5 on Saturday, a 2006 2.0 NC, very excited!

Factory ride height needs sorting immediately. Anybody else got this kit? http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/eibach-45mm-sports-sprin... Any feedback much appreciated. If anyone's got a photo of an NC with the standard 16 inch wheels and this kit fitted that would be really useful.

I have the 35mm pro kit installed by wheels in motion with a fast road geo. Transforms the look and feel of the car without compromising the ride quality.

Thanks Kuro that's really helpful. Your car looks great, ride height looks just right to me. 35mm springs it is.

I've got a 2006 NC sport and I went to Wheels in Motion who sorted out the geometry and fitted their lowered springs all for about £300.

Yes, 35mm. I'm not sure if 45mm would be too much with the 16 inch wheels. I suppose you could change the wheels at a later date which I thought about but the 16s are perfectly adequate.

I did 45 mm on mine then stuck some 18inch wheels, perfect height and looked awesome, but in the end save a bit more money and get gaz coilovers and get fully
Adjustable better in the long run

I agree with the above, get some coilovers. You can then set whatever ride height & damping you want.
Its the only way to go with any MX5.
