Mk1 bleed nipple

Evening all

I took my 1991 1.6 mx5 out of winter storage today to do a few jobs to get it ready for a track day in March

I was bleeding the brakes with some fancy high temp fluid , all going well until I got to the final caliper where the bleed nipple (he he nipple) was sized. I managed to get it out but it's pritty much destroyed .

According to the Internet a front bleed nipple is 8m x1

Is this the correct size as no one seems to stock them ? 8m X1.25 seem to be a available everywhere but no 8m x 1

Have I got the correct size for a front caliper?
