Hello guys

I am about to get a mk1 and I am checking insurance costs. I have a 0% NCB due to some unfortunate events with my late Tuscan... I live in central london (EC1A), am 33 years old, and will only drive on week ends, surely <5k miles a year.

Can you think of any MX5 friendly insurer who could tailor a deal for me from those parameters?

thank you very much, and looking forward to be part of your community.

I've always used Chaucer (via Performance Direct recently) for my mk1s on a classic car policy (so no NCB) with limited mileage and no increase for quite a few mods.

Footman James quoted me less than half what Adrian Flux offered.

I had the same problem when I moved to central London last year, I eventually went with Footman James on a classical car policy on my mk1, you can also try Greenlight, they would be my second choice.
