MX-5 - help with rust!

Hi guys,

Just been to look at an mx-5 today, drove beautifully with fresh M.O.T etc... only problem is that there seems to be some rusting around the sills and wheel arches. I know this is common and clearly it can't have been fixed before, but how serious is it? I'm only really looking to have the car for the rest of this year.

Mk2 Mx5 an be horrendous for rust I would walk possibly run away and find a MK1 which has had the sills done properly .

Surely depends on the price its up at. If its cheap, its worth getting and then getting it sorted. Getting 1 arch sorted was around £400, last time I saw it quoted. The Mk 2 looks lovely in that green.
