Should i service before i sell?

Hi All,

Will be putting my MX5 on the market in the next 1-2 months.

I've done 2-3000 miles since I bought it last year so was wondering if It's worth having it serviced prior to selling?

It has a full service history and will come with a new MOT.

Oil change at most. Most will say it doesn't add value to the car but it can help with buyer piece of mind.

Is it over due it's service?

If it has only done 2-3000 miles since it's last service then is it necessary?

Does the oil look clean?.....looks better if it is

the money you spend on a service, you will not get back.....if you get it serviced, and they pick up a defect, you choose not to tell buyer, then you could find yourself having an happy buyer banging on your door demanding his money back?

Your car you decide.....is it very old?....newish?

Service history always looks better to a buyer, receipts may make a sale easier.....
