Firstly, I'm still baffled by the way the sleeve works on the 1.6 diff/ppf combination (1991 vintage).

I know I can just rethread the long bolt back in and tap out the top captive nut from the ppf but I still want to frickin' know how this is constructed!!

It's the diff with the hexagonal block through which the front long bolt goes.
The hexagonal block has a hole in it so you can screw a small bolt in. I'm lead to believe you are supposed to rethread the long bolt a few threads and then pull down a sleeve (and holds the diff to the ppf by interference with the top spacer block) that's inside the hexagonal block and releases the diff from the ppf (you then lock the sleeve with the small bolt and unscrew the long bolt fully).
However I cannot for the life of me get any sleeve. As soon as I rethread the long bolt, it's threading into the top captive nut.
Is there a sleeve?
Is it threaded?
Is it just seized? (like every single other bolt/nut has been on this bd thing)

Have I got any of this right?!?

(diff and ppf are off the car)

Oh, and back to the original question:

I guess it's worth doing at the same time?

Do they simply tap into place?

PPS how do you get a lower wishbone bolt out of the wishbone and hub when it's seized.
In fact, how do you get a bolt out of the wishbone/hub when it has snapped about an inch and a half into the wishbone (the bolt head sheared).
Again, the wishbone/driveshaft assemblies are off the car. Eventually.

Help is very gratefully received.
