Hi all, trying to help a friend and colleague with a bit for their Mk1 MX5.

I am told is it from the middle of the wheel (standard alloys) and without it they cannot put the wheelnut covering plate onto one of the wheels. They have looked and you cannot seem to get it without having to buy a whole wheel with it still attached.

Can anyone perchance please help? Thanks!

Which of these "standard" wheels is it from?

Many apologies, my mistake - having clarified it, they are indeed aftermarket wheels - they look like Borbet A's to me:

However, as far as I can work out from the information she has told me, it is definitely some sort of spigot that locates the centre nut-cover cap of the wheel.

Aftermarket you might be best asking on http://forum.wheel-wes.com/

The swear filter will abuse that URL. But the second word is for ladies of ill repute.

They're MS01r wheels made by Rays. Good luck finding a centre cap, they're rarer than the wheels. There are other ones that will fit but off the top of my head I couldn't tell you what they are.

When I bought the kitcar it came with similar centre covers.
Turns out they were trimmed down rattle can caps.....
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe.

Thanks for the replies chaps,

Its not the centre cap itself we're after, rather the circular collar pictured in the OP, which I am told is a mounting that sits on the wheel for the centre cap to attach to.

I suppose the other option is to try to have a friendly lathe jockey machine a new one?
