Is this the best MK1 remaining?
Discussion
I wonder if this will fetch its £10 to 12K estimate?

I think this must be the best mk1 remaining, based on the £20k asking price: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311475117174
Although the spec looks a bit odd (steering wheel isn't right for an S-Special, the front splitter and rear spoiler look aftermarket, wrong alloys which should be BBS and loads of other detail things).

Steering wheel is right for a 1997. They got airbags at that point.Although the spec looks a bit odd (steering wheel isn't right for an S-Special, the front splitter and rear spoiler look aftermarket, wrong alloys which should be BBS and loads of other detail things).
Front splitter and rear spoiler are OEM options.

I put this one in the seriously over priced car section a few weeks ago £20k is way to much even though it is very nice I think there just chancing there luck seeing if there is anyone out there mad enough to pay this.Although the spec looks a bit odd (steering wheel isn't right for an S-Special, the front splitter and rear spoiler look aftermarket, wrong alloys which should be BBS and loads of other detail things).
The red one is really nice I think its the one that's been at the NEC classic car show on the owners club stand I think this one will make close to £10K they are looking for.
The prices on all clean mk1s seem to have started going up hopefully (for us owners) they will all be making £10K plus soon
