The other half noticed a pin prick hole in the roof today, on closer investigation the roof material appears to have gone quite thin around the area, about the size of a 5p. Any suggestions?
Was wondering about using a puncture repair patch on the inside, hopefully that will seal it and put a little bit of strength back into the area.

Vinyl or Mohair roof?
I used a puncture patch on my vinyl roof after a small split and it actually held quite well and kept the rain out for a month or 2. But eventually the roof just split with quite some gusto and had to be replaced.
You can get patches on ebay called stormsure that look like they might be quite good but I suspect its only delaying the inevitable....
