Hi, Trying to find some steel brake lines for my mx2 270mm big brake. Cant seem to find any that list that option. Thought they would be the same as standard brake ones but I ordered some and when delivered the packet said not for big brake model.
Anyone know where to get them or why the hoses are different

Thanks

Thanks Mega, So the 2.5 big brake would be same as my MK2 ?. Seems strange they dont list the MK2 as an option.

They should do, just make sure they're the same length as the ones you take off.

Although I didn't think Mazda fitted big brakes to the mk2 I thought they only fitted them to certain mk2.5's I could be wrong though

They're only on the Mk 2.5 Sport and some of the special editions I think.

I have previously bought pads (correct ones) for the MK2 big brake model so they are fitted to the MK2 not just the mk2.5. Just seems odd pads and discs get listed but not steel lines. Like I said I bought some steel lines for a MK2 and when delivered the pack had a sticker on saying not for big brake model.

What model & year to you have? The big brakes were introduced on the facelift Mk2.5...

Its a 1998 Model. Defo 270mm discs, many vendors clearly list big brake discs and pads for mk2 and mk2.5 models, 1998 to 2005. I have bought and fitted pads for this car.
Question is why doesnt anyone list steel lines for a mk2 and mk 2.5 big brake but they happily list pads for those 2 combinations. I guess ill purchase a kit for a 2.5 as cant see what would of changed braking wise, think it was just a cosmetic facelift ?

Thanks
