Just purchased this 124,000 mile, 9 months MOT 1.8i with some history.
It needs a bit of fettling, we'll see what develops! The clutch needs attention, the brakes are awful and there's a nasty suspension noise from the nsr. Rust in the usual places but the sills have been done(badly) 2 years ago.
But it's an na for the price of 3 trips to Tesco.....!

Thanks guys, I am in the process of replacing the clutch slave cylinder which is weeping, new front pads and bleed the brakes, a full service and then a proper road test.
If it dies in 9 months or needs major surgery then that's not an issue, they seem to be easy to work on though and when time allows I am sure there will always be something to do.
