Slight whining noise at low rpms

Brand new noise today coming from my NC, it seems to be a whining type noise from around 1500rpm up to nearly 3k. I've not heard this before and only just started this evening. I was messing about earlier in the afternoon and dumped the clutch accelerating away on some desolate roads but only did it around four maybe five times along with some feable attempts at some heal and toe downshifts.

For a change it wasn't her as she wasn't in it although that was a pretty good guess as it f*****g usually is.
The noise appears to have gone altogether today, wonder if I overheated the clutch ever so slightly and now its back to norm?
