Radio Code for 02 MX5

Hello all,

A colleague at work needs to replace her battery. She is worried that she will need a code for the radio after disconnecting the battery. Does anyone know if there is a generic code or is it a unique code for the car?

Hi,

firstly I doubt anyone will post it up on here as its potentially a great way for thieves to find it.

Its a generic code, and if you google it you will find the code and how to enter it.

As an FYI my code for my 03 Mk2.5 was actually the Mazda 323 code - I cant remember what it is, but find it.

I entered the code incorrect numerous times and it still unlocked with the generic code.

Sometimes dealers set them up using the last 4 digits of the VIN as the stereo code. Worked with mine anyway.
