Hi folks,

my wee Eunos is playing up frown

She keeps blowing the fuse that controls the sidelights, tail lights and dash lights.

I have tried the following:

- removed the head unit that it came with as the wiring was a mess! Now left with standard connectors and aerial lead, nothing connected at present.
- Had a look at the connections to the sidelights to see if they are corroded - nothing doing there either. I removed the sidelight bulbs to take them out of the equation.
- Ran it with both a 10A and a 15A fuse as different results on the web show both as the correct fuse.

Each time I replace the fuse, I need only drive about 200m and hit a pothole in the road and I hear the fuse pop and the dash lights (and everything else) goes out again.

A quick Google shows the Lambda sensor could also be a culprit? Wiring looks ok on that.

The car did have a replacement dash/clocks fitted when it cam into the UK - related?

Anyone have any ideas where to go next? I guess I am looking at an Auto Electrician...

Have you tried posting on mx5nutz forum? There's a section for 'problems' on there and I'm sure someone will be able to help.
