Roof fitters Between Exeter and London
Discussion
So I need to get a new mohair roof for my mk1 mx-5 and wanted someone to fit it. The roof has passed it by a long way and I don't have the time or space to fit a new one.
I am in London, but the car is in Exeter, so the idea is to go down to Exeter on a Friday night and drive it back to London on a Saturday, stop on the way and get a new roof fitted and then continue up to London.
Googling, I have seen a place in Bideford (South West Roadsters) however it seems more than the other places, another in Chessington (Car Hood)and then I know of a place in Romford (Everything mx5). Ideally I want somewhere closer to Exeter.
Has anyone used any of them are there others people would recommend or know of?

If you haven't got the hood yet then I would seriously recommend you do a detour to Swansea and visit Jack Smith Trimmers.
Chessington Hoods. A club member had a new vinyl roof put on by them a couple of years ago and she's never been happy with it as she struggled to put it down. She we to our Spring Rally the other week and got a new mohair one put on by someone there (can't remember who now) and she's really pleased with it - must say it did look good. However, they said that there were a few faults with her hood, which is why it didn't work properly.
