So, the car's going to the bodyshop next week for a few bits and bobs one of which is a wheel refurb.

Got to thinking of colours, I was going to stick with silver but the misses has suggested gunmetal might look better and now i'm getting all sorts of suggestions.

Its a grey NC Roadster, opinions/examples please folks.

Black. I think black wheels on a deep grey car look ballin'. Or do it like the fellers at BBR did with the 270.

Black with a grey car. Gunmetal if the car was not grey.

I agree black on a dark grey car. Best colours are black and graphite as they don't show the brake dust as much !
Here's mine .

gunmetal might be too much grey, I agree with the other folks.

Strangely my silver wheels on my black NC go gunmetal after a few months of not cleaning them ( very cheap upgrade ) and they look good. Might consider gunmetal in future therefore.

Another vote for black wheels on a grey NC, this is what they looked like on my dads one which sadly we no longer have.

Silver ...end of....black is so here now trendy....like white paintwork.
Van and race cars are white so stickers show up. Sheep are white and they like to follow...only white cars that look good are classics with lots Chrome...Black wheels with black tyres have no contrast. So what is point of fashionable large rims and skinny tyres if hard to see the difference....or wheels that look like they have got 12months of brake dust on them....
Eee when I were lad they used to come with black steel wheels before you put the trims on ...or buy the base model without....a visually I can't see it... fashion...like low riding your pants.
Oh and whist on the point of fashion that stupid low profile tyre thing on say a Honda Jazz...really my mother is not interest in 0.2 of sec quicker getting to Tesco or a weekend at the Ring...but the fact the ride is over hard....road noise....tyres expensive..rims kerbed...and suspension taking extra hammering over speedbumps is also a supid pointless load of plop....in the name of fashion.
Might have to take over from Clarkson at this rate..!!
