I am looking online to try and source some nice aftermarket alloys for the Eunos I will hopefully be picking up soon.

I am in no rush so happy to wait for a nice set of Enkei/Watanabe/BBS RS/anything nice.

I have been looking on Nutz, MX5OC, EBay, Gumtree as well as Wheel wes, but there isn't exactly a lot to choose from in the second hand market.

Is this just a blip and am I looking in the right places, or have I missed some great place to pick these things up?

I suppose the time of year probably affects the second hand market. In terms of new wheels the Japanese brands seem to be particularly hard to get hold (hilariously so compared to the US, though I suppose that's an import parts for import cars thing).

I know you mentioned BBS too, but with Japanese makes, if you really want something you can't get in Europe, some of the english language export websites are useful. I used one for my Weds sport wheels, which are since available here banghead though mine were £350 less, shipping/duty set me back nearly 500. Not all have a particularly good range cataloged, but will source items for you including from Yahoo auctions, which as far as I know is very good place for obscure and rare wheels.

Driftworks are now supplying the Work range. Enkei are fairly easy to find; if you want the minilite/watanabe style wheels, Enkei Compe look similar to the split versions. Enkei J-Speed and RFP1 also look great in small sizes on an MX5 in my opinion.

949 Racing 6ULs look great on MX5s too.
