Getting back into an MX-5...
Discussion
So, after talking about this car - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
it whetted my appetite and got me looking around at all MX5s, I started focusing more on Mk1 as my old one was a MK2.5 so didn't want to revisit old ground. Mk3 would have also been nice but looking forward to getting a classic instead.
I spoke to Steve at Goodwood Sportscars, and long story short, I have put a deposit down against a fresh import V-Special.
It's 1.6, black with tan leather and is absolutely minted.
Steve is going to fit a new mohair hood, fix a few wee jobs that need sorting and get it registered so I should hopefully pick it up in a couple of weeks.
Hoping it will make a nice wee stablemate for my CX-7.
Photos will follow when I pick her up

Will be watching this one with interest - I've been contemplating buying from Goodwood Sportscars for a while now. It'll be good if the cars meet the descriptions!
