In a few weeks I am going to buy a NC. So, I read a lot of buying guides and did a lot of "research". I think I know enough to buy and own a NC, but it's always nice to get some tips from people that own(ed) this car. smile

Are there any things I should know before buying a NC?

Apart from the usual checks, just make sure you get it aligned after purchase to make sure everything is tickety boo.

Thanks for the help, guys!

I already read that buying guide. Quite helpful, also the forum discussion around it is helpful. smile

If I see a 2.0 within my budget, then I will buy it! Otherwise, it has to be a 1.8...

Is rust a big problem on NCs?

Don't assume you're the drift king and slide it into something. It's harder than it looks on the Telly.

I'd put aside money to get it undersealed.

I know of a few 55/06 plate NC's that have needed arches touched up, due to rust appearing (mine included)
