Hi all

Have a mk2 1.8iS. Last year I supercharged it and changed all the plugs, leads, belts fluid etc in the process. Even had a new battery which has been on the conditioner when stood since. Also had upgraded rx8 injectors and a megasquirt all which came with the secondhand kit I bought from a guy removing it from a rusted scrapper.

It's been running like a dream all year. No problem. I even used it last weekend for the first time since nov, started and ran fine.

Today I needed to move it out of the garage to service my daily and it would crank, fast like it was trying to catch but just wouldn't. It was running cranking the same speed as it did when I inadvertantly left the crank sensor off but just wouldn't catch.

It eventually went at the 5th/ 6th attempt, ran until I put the clutch in then stalled. started again first time and move with plenty of revs. All the time it was trying to stall. I let it warm up at idle and then it ran fine, went for a spin no problem once warm.

So, any ideas? Do they just hate the cold when supercharged? Could the crank sensor be knackered? Or something altogether more sinister?
