Here is my 2007 Mk3 RC complete with its new nose job. I never really cared much for the original "fish mouth" so went for this ILmotorsports supplied kit. It needed a professional installation but I'm really pleased. Makes it ageless now. I know these are "marmite" views but I'm happy as the car has so much aftermarket mods that I plan to keep it for a long time. Just needs to have a clear film protection installed to complete the work. Opinions welcome ?

Looks fab - much meaner, especially with the splitter. What suspension are you runnning?

Suspension is BC racing "BR" adjustable coilovers and they are excellent - road or track !

Not really my thing but to be fair - seen a lot worse. That looks a nice installation job. Pretty seamless. Nice colour too.

That looks a load better than I thought it would really....not previously a fan of this bumper, but it looks the part on yours...much more aggressive! Any more pictures? Looks like all the other bodywork is stock too? And any comments on fitment, quality? And where did you get it from? smile

My car has mods to the lights, wheels and a bit of colour changing (black), and the carbonmiata ducktail spoiler, but really needs a lip of some description!

Yes its the only "body work" change but the car has significant suspension enhancements etc. As stated in the original post its not everyones taste and I think it depends on the car colour as well ! I bought the bumper from MX5 parts but its from ILmotorsports in Germany. The bumper with foglights is not on the MX5 parts website but they were happy to get it for me and organize the delivery with thier usual excellent service. In respect of fitment I don't think its a beginers DIY undertaking as the support / mountings had to be "fettled" for a good fit. The quality is very good but alot of prep work was done on the bumper as it comes with moulded inserts for the headlight washers (for european models) so these were removed and filled for a better look. I have the benefit of a very good bodyshop which was a big advantage. Not a cheap job to be truthful but I plan to keep the car for a long time. I'll post some general pictures over the weekend. Car is going to have ventureshield clear protection film fitted before any road / track work as being a fibreglass part it won't take much to damage it (stone chip wise).
Like the light mods on your car.
