Working in Japan and I own an MX5. Cheap tuning gubbins?
Discussion
Chaps,
I'm currently working in Japan (until end of March) and it occured to me this morning on the way into work that this might be a sensible place to obtain parts should I wish to fritter away my living allowance on items other than rice and fish.
I know Super Autobacs is a big tuning shop, but does anyone know of anywhere else that I could go that might specialise in mx5 bits at a reasonable cost?
I'm happy to sacrifice some clothes in my suitcase if it means I can bring back a turbo kit/supercharger kit at low cost.
For reference, I'm just south west of Tokyo so anywhere in the Yokohama/Tokyo area is reachable easily.

http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/ would be a good place to start but there are loads of tuning garages around Japan, google is your friend but from the top of my head.
Garage vary, Maruha, KG works etc etc.

I wouldn't have a clue other than online to be honest. As ancient as the site designs usually are, most seem to have some sort of basic ecommerce.
I know of a few english language sites, https://www.japanparts.com/ is one, though aimed mostly at overseas shipping. I believe they'll help source things that aren't listed. I used Nengun for my Weds Sport wheels, though their selection of parts for our cars is shockingly small.
