Hi all, just bought a set of Eibach -30mm lowering springs for my MK3 which i am going to get fitted at my local garage. I have heard a lot about twisted bushes and would obviously like to avoid this. Can someone please explain how to avoid twisted bushes or better still provide a fitting guide that i can give to my mechanic. Thanks

I haven't done this myself, but this is what I remember being told. Tighten the bolts up to hand tight with the car jacked up, then nip them up to full tightness when the wheels are on the ground.

Metalastic bushes should be treated as above. Polyurethane ones can just be tightened up.

Yep as above. Tighten them when the car is back on the ground.

Essentially it'll be any through wishbones/trailing arms. Shocks themselves should be no problem at all nor ARBs.
