Hi all
looking for a red or black hardtop for my recent purchase as the soft top has a couple of holes tears etc..
problem I can see from looking on E Bay is I live up in the North east of Scotland and it seems delivery is an issue. There are couriers who come up here and I would be willing if price is right to get one delivered . If any one out there has one and is willing to sell PM me and we can discuss options
Thanks

A new soft top usually costs less than a good condition hard top wink

Speak to Jack Smith Motor Trimmers in Swansea.
IIRC they'll supply a soft top for DIY in Vinyl or Mohair for not a lot of money.
Hard tops are OK but really defeat the object of having a 5???
Cheers, Pewe.

Hardtop will really be for later in the year as I live up in the North East of Scotland, will be very cold come November. However been enjoying it with top down over last few days and I do like the look of them with the hardtop.

The cold doesn't matter. As long as your thermostat is ok you should be able to melt your shoes with the heater and it's a small space to heat. Security and lots of winter motorway miles are the best reasons for a HT.

the rear window is also bigger, and they look better than an mx5 with the soft-top up.
