Hi as the title really, looking for ideas, options and how to's for fitting a double din sat nav, iPhone compatible unit into a 58 plate MX5.

Car doesn't have BOSE and I'm not really after a fancy ice install just something that works, looks close to original fitment and doesn't cost a fortune.

Can it be done?

Pics prompts and ideas would be great.

Cheers

Not sure if it helps (and it wasn't satnav, just a double DIN head unit) but my wife's NC had an Alpine double DIN headunit installed by a previous owner when she bought it. I guess all that proves though is that double DIN units can be made to fit but you maybe knew that already. I don't see any reason why an integrated head unit with sat nav wouldn't fit though, on that basis. Just need to find a facia panel for the car.
