More expensive (generally around 3-4 times greater). The very cheapest Mk. 3 cars are getting down to around £14 000 now. MX-5s aren't too bad though as the taxes are one weight and power mostly. A lot of other cars are just silly.

Yes, I thought that about the engine too! Kinda tempted to go for it as it would be nice to get a 1.8 for the extra power... Hm!
