Newbie here. I just bought a 51 plate 1.6 for my daughter. It's an old one but drives nicely and I chose the small engine because she is only 18 and has a heavy right foot. All 4 wings are perfect though both inside and out which is good. There is some surface rust towards the rear of the cills but they are not too bad and having had a good stab around with a screwdriver they are still solid and I want them to stay that way. Can someone advise where the drain holes are located that I need to keep clear and how best to do it. Tia Jes

If you want to prolong the life of the sills, there's a bung (about 40mm diameter) inside the rear wheels arch that you can pull out and spray some waxoyl or dinitrol all around in there.
This picture shows it top middle, it may be covered in under seal so may need a bit of persuading to get out
