Bracknell Nutz Meet - Thursday 17th April
Discussion
Our next meet is booked for Thursday 17th April, from 7:30pm, and is at Pinewood Bar & Cafe.
Pinewood Bar & Cafe (http://www.pinewoodbarandcafe.co.uk/)
Unit 8
Pinewood Leisure Centre
Old Wokingham Road
Wokingham
Berkshire
RG40 3AQ
There is a massive car park - as you come in turn left into the car park nearest to the cafe. Food is very cheap and cheerful and there is a range of grill/burgers, chips etc.
Directions
If you're approaching from the M4 direction, continue as if you were going to Peacock Farm, but as you come off the A329(M), take a right at the roundabout (instead of left to Peacock Farm). Continue down the road for about a mile and then turn right into the Pinewood Leisure Centre. If you miss the turning, carry on down to the roundabout to turn around. http://goo.gl/maps/oiu8y
Approaching from Sandhurst/Camberley/M3 direction, head up to Bracknell as normal, but turn left at the roundabout with Nine Mile Ride. Straight ahead at the next mini roundabout (for TRL) and then right at the next roundabout onto Old Wokingham Road. Turn left into Pinewood Leisure Centre after about 100m. http://goo.gl/maps/idsyN
Another date for your diary is Tuesday 6th May for Pinewood's quiz night - would be good to get a couple of teams together.

I'm guessing a 40 plus year old bloke with an NC MX5 which has the much laughed at "Powershift" automatic transmission will be rapidly debagged, have his "Nutz" aligned properly before being crucified upside down and have bacon rolls thrown at him.
So I will give it a miss and instead just continue to be an outcast. A slow one with the worst spec MX5 ever made, can I borrow Chris Harris' paper bag?

Don't be such a wuss. 46 is a mere whippersnapper's age
My mid-20s step-daughter has recently bought a mk3 1.8 anniversary and would be too shy to come on her own for the first time. So, as a 53 year old bald bloke, I am more than happy to take the debugging on her behalf.
I will try to talk her into the meet, especially if this weather continues.

Oi! As chief organiser I can turn up in what I want. The battery is being charged as I type so should be in the MX5 next week.
Come along, even at the ripe old age of 46 Lazza isn't quite the oldest person to attend our meets.
Well that's true. I might only show up every now and then but at 62, the rest of you aren't even trying. Mind you, I've just traded up to a Honda S2000 so I guess I don't qualify for these meets any more!Come along, even at the ripe old age of 46 Lazza isn't quite the oldest person to attend our meets.

That sounds like a very good reason to escape the house for a couple of hours
You obviously have not seen this particular set of 20somethings Sadly, she has her own place for this small gathering, and the MX5 is her car. They will be having another bash at our place when there are more of them as hers is a bit light for 40 people or more.
I could come with the Vette I suppose but you will all laugh way too much.
