Got so close to trading in my NC.. but i couldn't do it.

Was set on trading in for a Mini Cooper S, everything sorted.. insurance change lined up, man maths all sorted..


BUT i couldn't do it! I am keeping it, i am just not sure i will find something that i will enjoy as much. I have got a Cobra backbox on it and i am now booked in to to get the Eibach lowering springs put on it to get rid of the 4x4 look and body roll!

I have been toying for ages of changing for an R56 MCS too, but I know that I will miss the MX-5 so much I can't do it... wise decision!

Now see this is my gripe with the MX, if they will only do a more torque and a little more power owners wouldn't move onto the mini (and there are quite a few who have switched)

I have a 03 Cooper and my Mrs has an 09 Cooper S Convertible. They are both very good cars. My Cooper is much more fun than a small 115bhp hatch has any right to be. The S has the torque to add a bit of speed to the package.

That said, I will upgrade from my Mini before long and Mrs Lazza is eyeing up other cars too whereas you will have to prize the keys for my MX5 from my cold dead hands
