Can someone please give some advice, my lad has a Mk1 eunos, the passenger window cable has snapped. Can the cable be replaced or is it a complete mechanism replacement ? It looks to be quite a tricky job, any tips gratefully received.

Replacing the cable is a ball ache (plus the cables cost a fortune and there is a good chance something else is broken), you can get complete mechanism replacements (used) off eBay for around £30 and it takes about 20 mins to swap them over.

Cables can be replaced, I got a kit for about £45 and replaced both cables and the winding drum when the one of the wires broke in the drivers door of mine.

Yep plenty of breakers out there can pick them up from £20 onwards cheaper than cables and so much easier to fit makes sure to grease the cables and runners before attaching to the door or it will do the same thing.
